What is Kubox and how does it work?
Kubox is a photovoltaic system for electricity generation and for charging electric cars.
Connected to the network, in order to charge the car while you are at work or at home and protect it at the same time, maximizing usage comfort;
Standalone combined with an accumulator, in case of needing to charge the car in areas where the electricity grid is not easily accessible
What is Kubox?
Kubox produces energy consistently and the placement of the full black panels on four sides ensures full coverage at any time of the day.
The percentage of self-consumption is high, reducing the need to tap into the network to charge the electric car, especially on sunny days. It can also come equipped with a storage system.

Four values of Kubox?
The power generation system is managed by an inverter which is already integrated into the vehicle charging system (with choice of type 1 o type 2) by Solar Edge. Each panel is managed by a power optimizer which regulates the flow of energy and allows the coexistence of panels with different orientations within the same string.
Kubox performance is monitored and managed via app, using which you can decide whether to recharge the electric car with solar energy alone or draw from the network, but also adjust the power (and therefore the speed) of charging according to the time available (slower charging and relying entirely on self-consumption prolongs battery life).
Kubox is perfect for daily consumption, with the option of choosing the minimum charge you need for the day, from 2 kW to 7.4 kW, and more up to 22kW.
Kubox is able to fully cover the annual electricity consumption of up to 2-3 cars, meaning the potential of travelling up to 46000 km per year in fully electric carbon neutral mobility.
